I went out for dinner yesterday.

I went to a barbecue place that I often go to, about once a week.

They're open 24 hours

 

so I usually like to go (there) late at night when it isn't crowded, 

But this time, I went (there) a little earlier than usual.

I was expecting to see some more people.

but it was much more crowded than I thought.

 

 

     어제 저녁 먹으로 나갔어.

      일주일에 한 번 정도 자주 가는 고깃집에 갔어.

      24시간 영업하는 곳이라 주로 밤늦게 사람이 없을 때 가는 걸 좋아해.

      근데 이번에는 평소보다 좀 일찍 갔었어.

      사람이 좀 더 많을 거라고는 예상했는데

      생각보다 훨씬 많더라고.

       barbecue place : 고깃집

 

       It's a 24 hours place : 24시간 영업소 ( They're 24 hours보다 캐주얼한 표현)

 

       than usual : 평소보다

 

       a little earlier than usual : 평소보다 좀 일찍

 

       It was execting to : ~를 예상하고 있었다 ( I didn't expect it to~보다 간단한 표현 )

 

       much more : 훨씬 더

 

       than I thought : 생각보다
