                일상을 영어로 말하기 / 해본 사람은 얼마나 힘든지 알아요.

 

 

 

 I went to IKEA today.  

 I had a specific list of things to buy but anyone who has been to IKEA

                     knows how hard it is to stick to a shopping list.

 

  I did end up buying a few things that

            I wasn't planning to but I didn't get too carried away.

 

 

 

        오늘 이케아에 다녀왔어요.

 

        I went to IKEA today.

 

 

        구체적으로 뭐 살지를 미리 정하고 갔는데 계획했던 것만 사는 게 얼마나 어려운지

        이케아에 가본 사람이라면 누구나 알 거예요.

 

        I had a specific list of things to buy but anyone who has been to IKEA knows

             how hard it is to stick to a shopping list.

 

 

        결국 계획에 없던 걸 몇 가지 사긴 했는데 그렇게 심하게 하진 않았어요.

          I had a specific list of things to buy : 사야 할 구체적 목록들

 

          stick to : ~에서 벗어나지 않고 하다.

 

          how hard it is to : 얼마나 어려운지

 

          end up ~ing : 뜻하지 않은 결과가 됐을 때, 결국 ~하다

 

          get carried away : 정도가 지나치다.
